All the details of the products in the look book are at the end of this article.
What are the hottest trends this winter?
Winter fashion is about braving the cold in style and layering up. In women’s fashion, the three key trends are the statement coat, faux-fur and soft layers of cosy knitwear. Also, pom-pom beanie hats and knee-high boots create a strong look.
For men, turtlenecks are in, as seen in the new James Bond film Spectre and in Chanel. Unusual textures including corduroy and mohair are great too. Functional outerwear with a smart twist, like a cashmere scarf, is definitely the look to sport.
Are certain body types limited to certain styles?
The secret is getting the proportions right and wearing clothes that are appropriate for your shape and age. Know your body and highlight your assets, whether that’s your neckline, ankles or waistline for ladies or your shoulders, biceps or legs for men.
What works for keeping curves modest?
A blazer should form the core of your capsule wardrobe for a modest, flattering and sculpted look. This versatile piece is perfect for transitioning from day to night - and don’t forget about good underwear for creating a streamlined canvas for the layered fabrics!
What works for flaunting curves?
Midi-length skirts and dresses are perfect for achieving a glamorous silhouette. A wrap dress is both flattering and form-fitting - think Adele.
What's in style for work wear?
When dressing for work, let shoes be your focal point. Elegant courts give ladies the inner confidence needed to work the office crowd.
Corporate men should invest in an impeccably cut suit. A tailored jacket and regular-fit trousers worn with a slim-fit cotton shirt will make you stand out in the boardroom.
How about casual wear?
For casual days always go for comfort. Soft fabrics and loose fitting tops are perfect for a laid-back downtime look.. For walks in the park or with your dog, choose a lightweight hoodie. XL.Promodoro has a fantastic range which couples nicely with their pure cotton organic line offering you that desired comfort.
And what about dressing up for a party?
Ladies, for your party look - think chic! Make sure you accentuate and elongate. Long gowns with open back will give you the ultimate red-carpet appeal.
Men can double up their office wear by donning a tailored jacket and trousers to parties too - just looe the tie and maybe undo a button (or two!)
What’s the one must-have this season?
A grey oversized coat: both classic and on-trend. For a casual look, pair it with sleek trainers and a large tote. For an evening look, team it with a pair of heels and a knee-length plain-colour jersey dress.
Smart footwear make the man! Invest in a good pair of leather chukka boots. Timeless and elegant, these can be worn both with jeans and at more formal occasions. A classic English year-round look.
And finally, what’s the perfect Christmas outfit for a glamorous look that also allows room for a turkey dinner?
Branch out this Christmas and try a crossover, v-neck, sleeveless jumpsuit. It’s a great modern alternative that can be nicely accessorised with a belt or chunky jewellery.
Men can wear a turtleneck jumper to achieve a friendly yet sophisticated appeal. Finish the look with your favourite aftershave.
